  • Videographer: Brooke Bryand: (415) 309-0571

SCHEDULE:

  • 8:00am-9:00am: Videographer Set-Up

  • 9:30am-10:00am: Tara

  • 10:00am-10:30am: Karen

  • 10:30am-11:00am: Interview #4

  • 11:00am-11:30am: Nate

  • 1:30pm-2:00pm: OPEN FOR TEEN

  • 2:00pm-2:30pm: OPEN FOR TEEN

  • 2:30pm-3:00pm: Break Down

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We will walk you through your interview as if talking to a friend. We’ll have 3-4 key questions to ask that will simply guide our conversation. The good news: your entire job is to speak from your heart and the rest will take care of itself! No need to be nervous, but that is absolutely natural and we’ll guide you through to find the “you” inside.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Wear what speaks to your personality the most. Know that this video series is speaking to future AJ participants and sponsors, so they want to see themselves in you and they want to feel comfortable! No suits and ties needed, just come as you’d like to represent yourself.

  • Wear something that you feel COMFORTABLE in…if you feel stuffy, you’ll look stuffy. Select an outfit you would typically wear to see a client (business casual).

  • Practice sitting down in whatever blouse/top/dress you want to wear. When you sit, do the buttons pull at the chest? Does the dress come up shorter than you’d like when you sit? Keep these things in mind!

  • Plain is best…lots of stripes and patterns often take over the video when really what we want to showcase is YOU.

MODEL RELEASE:

A model release will be emailed to you before the video shoot!

13th Pedra Conference: VIDEO SUPPORT

Goal:

Transform the energy of the PeDRA Conference into lasting stories and visuals that continue to inspire after the event. This page outlines our creative approach for supporting PeDRA’s 2025 conference.

Sizzle Recap Video

Share the look and feel of PeDRA 2025 with a sizzle reel that captures the essence of the event. This will be sprinkled with testimonials from attendees sharing all the benefits (networking, learning, etc). This can be used both as a recap for 2025 and a promotion for 2026. Investment: $5,500

Speaker Rock-Star Videos

Showcase key speakers (medical or sponsors) with custom 30-60-second highlight reels of their presentations.* A perfect “thank you” for their time and expertise that they can then share on LinkedIn, garnering more interest for PeDRA. Investment: $1,500/speaker or $5,000 for four

* Note: We recommend a much faster-pace than the example. Make it engaging, quick, highlighting a one-line nugget from their presentation.

PeDRA 2026 Promo

Create a series of short (:30) promotions while at the 2025 conference that can be used to promote the 2026 conference (launching them in July/August 2026). Create a “can’t-miss-it” vibe from the videos featuring different speakers. Investment: $1,250/promo or $4,000 for four

Sponsor Showcase

Share a series of testimonials from the sponsors sharing their ROI from participating in PeDRA 2025. This can be used in the 2026 prospectus to not just tell but SHOW what the experience includes. Investment: $2,500

WHAT TO EXPECT

There are some headshot and lifestyle images on this page for reference. You can expect for me to give you specific directions on where to be and then I’ll talk you through what we are trying to convey in the particular shot (listening…taking notes…etc). For headshots, our plan is to capture you in three different scenarios during your headshot time (sitting on the steps, leaning against a wall, etc). The headshot will be focused on the upper half of your body, but your bottom half may show when we do the seated versions.

WHAT TO WEAR

Many (most!) of my clients like to send me a photo or two of what they are thinking they want to wear. Feel free to do this - I promise it happens all the time! Ph: 415-309-0571

  • Choose 1 outfit for your headshot + 1 change of shirt + jewelry for brand photos. Feel free to wear the same bottoms (jeans or slacks or whatever you typically wear). Dresses work well too.

  • Plain is best…lots of stripes and patterns often take over the photo when really what we want to showcase is YOU.

  • Select jewelry that fits your style. If you love bold earrings and they are part of your personality, flaunt them! If something simple and modest is more your style, that is great too! The point of a headshot is to give someone a glimpse into who you are before you meet.

#BREAKTHEBIAS Shoot FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’s DAY

WHAT IS #BREAKTHEBIAS?

From the International Women’s Day website:
“Imagine a gender equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women's equality.
Collectively we can all
#BreakTheBias.”

WHAT THIS PROJECT IS:

This is personal. As a woman, I know I am not alone in the experiences I’ve had in my lifetime where I felt “less than” due to my gender. My guess is - you have too. Instead of (staying) in the past with all that has gone wrong, I want to hear your voice to paint a picture of a world going FORWARD.

Model releases have been emailed out to everyone. Please e-sign before Thursday.

WHO I’M LOOKING FOR:

  • Kids & Teens! Give us your experience, your vision, your beautiful way of looking at life. Whether you just want a photo or want to say a sentence on video, you are welcome.

  • Women…Moms, not-moms, pet-moms, twenty-somethings…you are welcome.

  • Our elders. You have seen more than I can imagine. If you would grace us with your words or your portrait, you are welcome.

#INSPIREINCLUSION Shoot FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’s DAY

WHAT IS #INSPIREINCLUSION?

From the International Women’s Day website:
“When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world.

And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.

The aim of the IWD 2024 #InspireInclusion campaign is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women.”

GENERAL INFO:

  • Date: Thurs, Sept 2, 2021

  • Time: 4:00pm

  • Location: 4924 Adler Pass, Raleigh, NC 27612

  • Photographer: Brooke Bryand: (415) 309-0571

WHAT TO WEAR

Plain is best! One pieces only for ladies, board shorts for men. Keep hair DRY.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The storyboard is to the left. This is an abstract version of what we’ll shoot on Thursday. There is no sound on this video from our shoot, so laughter & fun is absolutely encouraged! We will shoot the scene 15-20 times from varying angles. The most helpful thing you can do is remember your mark (i.e. where you started) and start from the same exact spot every time.

WHAT TO EXPECT

There are some headshot and lifestyle images on this page for reference. You can expect for me to give you specific directions on where to be and then I’ll talk you through what we are trying to convey in the particular shot (listening…taking notes…etc). For headshots, our plan is to capture you in various scenarios throughout our locations (sitting on steps, leaning against a wall, etc). For video, I’ll coach you through each question and we may do them several times to get your natural response.

OUR TIME TOGETHER

You can expect the flow of our hour to be something like this:

  • 8:00am-8:30am: Video Interview for Speaker Reel (sitting down 1:1 with me, all mic’d up and getting into the nitty gritty of what makes you amazing)

  • 8:30am-8:45am: Brand Photography & B-Roll (you doing specific actions like working on your laptop, talking on your phone, working with a client, etc)

  • 8:45am-9:00am: Headshots (just you and the camera!)

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Choose 1 outfit for your headshot + 1 change of shirt + jewelry for brand photos. Feel free to wear the same bottoms (jeans or slacks or whatever you typically wear). Dresses work well too.
